Planting a million mango trees
An ambitious lifetime project planting mango trees at the Pema Ts'al School to directly encourage the younger generation to become involved in the care of Mother Earth and her environment. By introducing mango trees that not only have local environmental benefits but also have a far better economic viability for the local community members than their annual crops of rice and corn.
